All books sold on RevivoBooks are second-hand unless explicitly stated otherwise. We accurately describe the condition of each book to the best of our ability.

3.2 Book Condition Grading

We use the following grading system to describe book conditions:

Like New: Book appears unread with no visible wear. Pages are clean and binding is tight.
Very Good: Book shows minimal signs of use. May have minor shelf wear but pages are clean and unmarked.
Good: Book shows normal signs of use. May have creased spine, worn edges, or minor markings, but all pages are intact and readable.
Acceptable: Book is well-worn but complete. May have significant wear, markings, or damaged cover, but remains fully readable.

3.3 Product Descriptions

While we strive for accuracy in all product descriptions, used books may have minor imperfections not mentioned in the listing. Photos are representative and may not show the exact copy you will receive.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include Dutch VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect orders already placed.

4.3 Payment Processing

6. Shipping and Delivery

EU countries: 5-10 business days
International: 10-20 business days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. RevivoBooks is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs.

Delivery times may vary based on customs clearance

6.4 Shipping Risks

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders.

7. Returns and Refunds

7.1 No Returns Policy

Important: As we sell second-hand goods, and in accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that can deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to second-hand goods sold at public auction.

Therefore, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the following circumstances:

7.2 Exceptions

We will accept returns and provide refunds only when:

Wrong Item: You received a completely different book than ordered
Significant Misdescription: The book condition is substantially worse than described (e.g., described as “Good” but arrived with missing pages)
Damaged in Transit: The book was damaged during shipping (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence)
Defective: The book is completely unreadable or unusable due to defects not disclosed in the listing

7.3 Return Process

If you believe your order qualifies for an exception:

Contact us at info@revivobooks.com within 48 hours of receiving your order
Provide your order number and photographic evidence of the issue
Wait for our approval before returning any items
Return approved items in the same condition received, at your expense unless we agree otherwise

7.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the returned item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases where we shipped the wrong item or the item was damaged in transit due to our error.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Used Goods Disclaimer

Books are sold “as described” with all faults inherent to used goods. We are not liable for:

Normal wear and tear consistent with the age and use of the book
Minor cosmetic imperfections not affecting readability
Previous owner markings, stamps, or inscriptions unless specifically mentioned
Slight color variations between photos and actual items
Minor odors common to used books (such as musty smell)

8.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product in question.

8.3 Exclusions

Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Lost profits or business interruption
Personal injury (except as required by law)
